Ironwood kicks off holiday concert season

Ironwood - Luther L. Wright K-12 School's John Krznarich Gymnasium was full Monday as the district's kindergarten through fifth grade students sang in the elementary choir concert.

The concert is one of the first of the season, with the districts across the Gogebic Range - including Ironwood - holding events over the next several weeks.

The concert schedule is as follows:

Ironwood

-Sixth grade honors choir, middle school choir and concert choir, 6 p.m., today, John Krznarich Gym.

-Sixth grade band, middle school band and high school band, 7 p.m., Friday, Historic Ironwood Theatre.

-Accent! concert, 7 p.m., Dec. 16, Historic Ironwood Theatre.

Bessemer

-Band concert, 7 p.m., Friday, A.D. Johnston High School

-Elementary Christmas concert, dress rehearsal, 9 a.m .; performance, 1 p.m .; Dec.22, Washington Elementary School. Parents who are unable to make the afternoon concert are welcome to attend the dress rehearsal performance.

Wakefield-Marenisco

-Christmas concert, 6 p.m., Dec. 19, W-M School.

Hurley

-Fifth-12th grade band concert, 7 p.m., Dec. 12, Hurley K-12 School.

-Elementary holiday concert grades PreK-1, 8:30 a.m., Dec. 20, Hurley K-12 School.

-Elementary holiday program grades 2-4, 10 a.m., Dec. 20, Hurley K-12 School.

-Grades 7-12 choir concert, 7 p.m., Dec. 20, Hurley K-12 School.

Mercer

-Distict Christmas concert, 6 p.m., Dec. 13, Mercer School gym.

Watersmeet

Ontonagon

Ewen-Trout Creek

-E-TC choir Christmas dinner and concert, Sunday, dinner-4 p.m. EST; music, 5:30p.m. EST; Centennial Hall.
