Todd Pulkas

BRUCE CROSSING, Mich. — Todd Pulkas, 56, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Bruce Crossing on Dec. 15th, 2017. He was born in Kenosha, Wis. on March 14, 1961 to Lawrence and Hazel (Gerber) Pulkas.

He graduated from Ewen-Trout Creek High School with the Class of 1980 and attended Gogebic Community College. He married LeeAnn Johnson of Trout Creek, Mich. Todd worked at the White Pine Copper Mine and later at Quad Graphics Packaging in Wausau, Wis. Growing up he enjoyed playing basketball and had always been an avid sports fan, with great passion for his beloved Detroit Tigers and Lions. Todd was known as a kind and gentle person and will be missed by all who knew him.

Todd is survived by his sons Marcus (Australia), Dayne (Painesdale, Mich.), Jordan (Wausau, Wis.) and grandson Madden. In addition to his sons, he is survived by his mother Hazel and stepfather Walter Lannet, brother Tim Pulkas (Carol), nephew Zach Pulkas, stepbrother Jason Lannet, stepsisters Yvonne Gagala (Al) and Yvette Winton (Wil), his four legged companion Lucky and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Ewen, Mich. on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. EST with visitation at one hour prior to the service and Father Brian Gerber as the celebrant. Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
