MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — Eugene R. “Eggy” Ridanpaa, 85, formerly of Ironwood, died peacefully at home on Monday, Dec. 18.
He is survived by children, Gena Ridanpaa, Jackie (Andrew) Fritsch and Teri Jo (Todd) Spencer. He was a proud grandpa of Haley Jo Spencer, Evyn Rae Spencer, Jackson Paul Spencer and Nicholas Andrew Fritsch and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and special friend Clara Borneman.
Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne (nee Johnson), as well as his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Eugene was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union-Local 18 for 60-plus years.
In accordance to his wishes, no services will be held. Memorials in Eugene’s name to the American Cancer Society or Horizon Home Care and Hospice, who also took care of Joanne, are greatly appreciated.
