County board members agree to award 61 scholarships

BESSEMER — The Gogebic County Board of Commissioners Wednesday approved $2,500 scholarships to 61 area high school senior students.

The Dr. Steven Fortunato Dal Pra and Colleen Dal Pra awards will go to half of the area high school seniors, as follows:

—Ironwood, 30 out of a class of 59.

—Wakefield-Marenisco, 11 out of a class of 22.

—Watersmeet, four out of a class of eight.

—Bessemer, 14 out of a class of 27.

—Community Schools, two out of a class of four.
