THE SUPERIOR Horns are playing the Historic Ironwood Theatre Saturday at 7 p.m. The doors open at 6 p.m.; tickets are available at the gate, from the box office, or online at ironwoodtheatre.net.
IRONWOOD — Grab family, friends and guests and join the fun as The Historic Ironwood Theatre presents “The Superior Horns & Blue Ice,” swinging and bopping with songs from Duke Ellington, Norah Jones, Gershwin, Louis Prima, The Blues Brothers Saturday.
One of the highlights of the evening will be a special solo song by HIT Idol winner Cassandra Bordner.
The Superior Horns feature the talents of Sherri Holm, Barb Ahnen, Chris Bergquist, Samantha Grace, Thomas Harvey, Rob Ahnen, Larry and Madeline Gabka and Jacob Schmeltzer. The Blue Ice Rhythm section is John Grewe, Matt Clausen, Tammy Grewe, Patrick Triggiano, Bob Michaels and Peter Grewe.
The musicial selection will range from the 1930s to the ‘90s with thei selection of music. Doors open at 6 p.m. and showtime is at 7. Tickets, $17 for adults and $5 for students, are available at the HIT box office, or online at http://www.ironwoodtheatre.net, and at the door.
