NEGAUNEE, Mich. — Ann M. Priante, 97, of Marquette, died Friday morning, May 11, 2018, at Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee under the care of Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice.
Ann was born on Dec. 31, 1920, in Ironwood, Michigan, to the late George and Mary (Yasch) Gutt and was a graduate of Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Jane Carmichael Priante, and special niece, Jean Priante, of Marquette, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, was a son, Joseph Priante, in 2011; six sisters, Mary Vlcek, Rose Smith, Agnes Mead, Marge Koscielny, Josephine Wahlberg and Cecelia Skowronski; also four brothers, Andrew, George, Joseph and Frank Gutt.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at 2 p.m. CDT at Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood. A reception afterward will be announced at the gravesite.
