EWEN — With the resignation of Ewen-Trout Creek Superintendent Alan Tulppo, the school district is looking for a leader.
The E-TC School Board accepted Tulppo’s resignation Wednesday. He said he has accepted the position of director of general education at the Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District. He will begin his duties there on July 2.
The school board subsequently posted several different scenarios for his replacement, including an internal posting calling for a K-12 principal, as well as external postings for a part-time superintendent, K-12 principal and a combined principal-superintendent.
The posting deadline is June 25 and the board will consider the postings at its June 27 meeting.
