Arthur Anthony Carli

HURLEY, Wis. - Arthur Anthony Carli, Jr., 82, of Hurley, passed away on July 19, 2018.

Arthur was born on December 29, 1935 to Arthur Anthony Carli, Sr. and Kathrine (Kutrovoc) Carli.

He served his country honorably as a member of the U. S. Air Force. He was employed at the White Pine Copper Mine. He was an active member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood.

He enjoyed spending time with his children. He had a great sense of humor and people always liked to be around him. He was an avid fisherman and especially loved trout fishing. He was a great carpenter and woodworker and made many beautiful creations over the years.

He is survived by children, Daniel Carli of Hurley; Urslyne "Kissy" Carli of Beloit, Kathy (Christopher) Spencer of the United Kingdom, five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brother Tom (Nancy) Carli as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Mike Carli and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 28, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Ironwood, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Robb Jurkovich as celebrant. A visitation with be held from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
