As a school project, children made tiles and Greany helped the students place them on an outline of the mural she drew. Each tile was placed according to an indication number and a letter.     HIGGINS LAKE, Mich. — Donna Marie Telling, 68, died at her Higgins Lake home on Dec. 23, 2015. She was born Dec. 21, 1947, in Bessemer to John and Millicent (Trewhella) Re. Donna attended Bessemer schools until 1959, when she moved to Detroit with her mother and siblings to live with her stepfather, Thomas Yalonen. Completing her education in Detroit, Donna became a hairdresser, working first at J.L. Hudson in Southfield, then to Galveston, Texas, and back to Michigan at Curl Up and Dye in Houghton Lake.
