He was born in South Carey to Matt and Taimi (Rosenberg) Kangas, delivered by a midwife who was his paternal grandmother, Eva. The increases for non-union employees, effective Jan. 1, were approved on a motion made by Jim Oliver, of Ironwood, seconded by Dan Siirila, of Ironwood. A man, 47, and woman, 41, were arrested in New London Wednesday evening, according to Gogebic County Sheriff Pete Matonich.
