BESSEMER - The Bessemer City council approved the Downtown Development Authority plan to pursue a new memorial site at its meeting on Tuesday. City manager Mike Uskiewicz gave an initial presentation of the plan. SHOREVIEW, Minn. - Naomi Hendricks, 95, passed away Jan. 2, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Shoreview. From 1950 to 1958 Naomi and Bill served in Ironwood, Mich., where they pastored First Baptist Church. Naomi led the choir, had charge of junior church and taught Sunday school. Margaret was born on Sept. 21, 1915, in Belleville, Wis., a daughter of Charles Justin and Augusta Emma (Grillot) Menigoz. The family moved to Topaz in 1918 to the family farm.
