    MERCER, Wis. — With a winter storm warning in effect for Iron County, the planned candidate forum in Mercer has been rescheduled to Monday. According to information on the town’s website, the forum, previously set for Tuesday night, will now be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at the Mercer Community Center. The forum will be hosted by the Iron County Citizens Forum and the Mercer Public Library and will feature candidates running for two seats on the town board. Although the ballot question as first specifies an increase in taxes, the same rate will be sought that has been in effect from 1985 through 2016 — one-third of a mill.
