    By TOM STANKARD [email protected] BESSEMER - Vintage snow machine enthusiasts gathered at Big Powderhorn Mountain Ski Resort Saturday for the third annual "Clowder in the Powder" to display their "prized" machines and meet with other fans of these unique over-the-snow vehicles. Throughout the day, more than 10 vehicles were on display for skiers, snowboarders and snowmobilers to look at and admire. Darryl Pepin Hall in the basement of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood Sunday as the church held its annual LaRosa Dinner.   • Fundraiser for Hurley fireworks held at Gile Park

    By KELSEY HANSEN [email protected] HURLEY - It was the third annual winter extravaganza at the Gile Park Saturday afternoon. All proceeds raised from the event benefit the annual Hurley Fireworks every July. This year, the 2.15 miles snowshoe race was rerouted from on the ice of the Gile Flowage to the woods through Gile Park. There was also a 5k road race for those that did not want to race on snowshoes. The event started at noon with registration, a bonfire, music and drinks.... Full story
