The goals identified on the agenda were opening a cemetery historical walk, updating their forest management plan, continuing to improve volunteer coordination with the Ironwood Area Chamber of Commerce and opening a lighted ski trail in Miners Memorial Heritage Park.     ONTONAGON, Mich. - Robert Paul Funke, 88, of Ontonagon, passed away on Feb. 4, 2022. He was born in Baraga, in 1933 to Robert E. and Myrtle Agnes (Broemer) Funke. He was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. He graduated from Baraga High School in 1951 and served in the National Guard. He worked for the village of Baraga until moving to the Ontonagon area. He worked for the White Pine Mine for 25 years and later went into trucking.
