"The fire appears to have started from a space heater and an extension cord not rated to support operation of this device," an Ironwood Public Safety Department official said in a news release.     PARK FALLS, Wis. - Bette J. Pemble, also known as "B.S. Bette", age 92, of Mercer, passed away on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls.
