WAUPACA, Wis. — Mary Kapelka, 87, a long-time resident of Montreal, passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, in Waupaca, after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side. She was born in Wabeno, on Oct. 25, 1928, as Mary Sebero. She moved to Ironwood, Mich., with her mother shortly afterwards. Mary attended St. Ambrose Catholic School in Ironwood.
