    HURLEY — The Hurley K-12 School was put on lock down Thursday afternoon due to a “perceived threat heard elsewhere in the community,” said Administrator Chris Patritto. “We did it under an abundance of precaution,” he told the Daily Globe later. A Code Yellow was declared at 1:45 and lifted at 2:20, according to text messages received by parents with children in the school. Town voters will be asked April 2 to decide whether to approve a .5 percent Premier Resort Area Tax on certain goods and services in the town. “We’d like people to have the facts.
