The council also voted to approve a related contract with Coleman Engineering Company of Ironwood, since it is engineering the trail project. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — James Richard Tassava, 75, died on March 31, 2019, in Birmingham, after a long illness. Jim was born to Leonard Tassava and Helmi (Talo) Tassava on May 13, 1943, in Ironwood, Mich.
