    CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Kermit "Ed" Rice, 81, originally from Ironwood, passed away on Feb. 29, 2020, at his home in Corpus Christi. He served in the U.S. Navy as an air traffic controller for 22 years, and then worked for the Civil Service in air operations for 17 years.
