    IRONWOOD, Mich. - Michael Clement "Mike" Mesich, 94, of Ironwood, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, in his daughter and son-in-law's home in Montreal, Wisconsin. Mike was born on Sept. 29, 1928, in Ironwood, a son of John Carl and Anna Mary (Yelich) Mesich. Mike attended Newport grade school and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1947. Dennis was born in Ironwood, on Nov. 16, 1940, the son of Axel and Helvi (Ojanen) Puisto. He served as a Military Police officer for the U.S. Air Force for four years after graduating high school.
