IRONWOOD, Mich. - John H. Suutala, 85, of Ironwood Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at home on Friday, March 13, 2015, after a lengthy illness of COPD and chronic pneumonia. BESSEMER — The Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotics Team arrested a 30-year-old male in Bessemer on Friday evening at 11:45 on multiple warrants and local charges. The subject was arrested on a felony warrant for the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department, a felony warrant from the state of Wisconsin, a felony warrant from the state of Minnesota and a warrant issued by the U.S. Marshals.
