According to city manager Charly Loper, the study will be paid with a $25,000 grant received from the Michigan Economic Development Commission. BESSEMER, Mich. - Joann Marie (Tarnaski) Balduc, 57, of Bessemer, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at her home, after a 10-month courageous battle with cancer. Joann was born on July 13, 1961, in Wakefield. She attended A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer and graduated in 1979. She continued her education at Gogebic Community College.
