The March Iron jobless rate of 9.7 percent was better than the 10.6 percent of February, according to the Department of Workforce Development. In March 2015, the Iron County jobless rate was 10.7 percent. Ashland County improved from 7.8 percent in February to 7.6 percent in March, according to the DWD.
