    ST. LOUIS — The Gogebic Range (Hurley-Bessemer) robotics team ranked in the top third Friday in its subdivision in national competition here. The first year team that won a regional tournament in Duluth to qualify for the nationals ranked 19th in its subdivision with a 7-3 record. There were 68 teams in the subdivision.     HURLEY, Wis. - Linda J. Ryskewecz, 61, of Hurley, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in Hurley. Linda was born on July 26, 1955, in Ironwood, Mich., the daughter of the late Stanley "Honey" and Ardyce (nee Nelson) Traczyk. She graduated in 1973 from J.E. Murphy High School in Hurley. Linda worked for the Iron County Miner, Villa Home Health, Iron County Extension office, and became the deputy clerk for the city of Hurley, eventually becoming the city clerk, retiring in July 2015.     ASHLAND, Wis. - Orville G. Stain, 83, formerly of Hurley, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017, in Ashland. He was born Jan. 7, 1934, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., the son of the late Orville G. Sr. and Viola (Ahola) Stain. Orville was a U.S. veteran, serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He resided for many years in Hoffman Estates, Ill., and moved to Hurley in 2003.
