HURLEY - The Gogebic Iron Range Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 529 held their 26th annual Steak Feed Fundraiser Saturday evening at the Iron County Memorial Building. ASHLAND, Wis. - Mavis J. Wennersten, 79, of Pioneer Park Apartments, Ironwood, Mich., died peacefully Friday, April 29, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center in Ashland, with her family by her side. BESSEMER, Mich. — Donald Charles DalPonte, 83, of Bessemer, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016. He was born Aug. 27, 1932, in Chicago and resided there until his family moved to Ramsay. Donald graduated from A.D. Johnston High School, Bessemer, in 1950.
