HURLEY, Wis. - Joseph F. Negri, 80, of Hurley, died unexpectedly Friday, May 13, 2016, at home. He was born July 12, 1935, in Chicago, son of the late Joseph and Domenica (Novascone) Negri. He attended St. Mary's Grade School in Hurley and graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in 1953. He then served stateside in the U.S. Army for two years. IRONWOOD - Gogebic Community College welding students fabricated a sign bearing the college's new logo and placed it near the entrance of the Lindquist Student and Conference Center. Last fall, Gary Goulin, welding instructor met with the college's marketing committee to launch plans for the new sign. IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP — The Ironwood Township Board of Trustees added resurfacing work on a section of Lookout Lane as part of the township’s construction schedule Monday, on the condition the Bessemer Township board of trustees also contributes to the project.
