    IRONWOOD - The city of Ironwood's water system received a "good report card" in recent state testing, according to city manager Scott Erickson. Following the water crisis in Flint, Ironwood was the only Upper Peninsula community chosen for water testing by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the state, Erickson told city commissioners on Monday.     BESSEMER — The Bessemer Area School Board adopted the 2016-’21 Gogebic-Ontonagan Intermediate School District’s common calendar Monday evening. Superintendent Dave Radovich said all six schools in the district will follow the calendar, with the same starting date and breaks. Students begin school on Sept. 6.     BESSEMER - The team results played out much like last week's Division 3 regional track-and-field meet with the Bessemer boys and Ontonagon girls both coming in second behind Lake Linden-Hubbell at Tuesday's Copper Mountain Conference meet. There were some differences in the individual events, though.
