She told the county board Wednesday the program is again available to help homeowners by offering interest-free loans of up to $30,000 to cover delinquent property taxes, mortgage payments and condominium association fees. Steiger said Jim Maccani gave the society an old ledger from the Sylvania Club, near Watersmeet. Without digging into the new historical artifact yet, some names leapt off the pages of the tome. A.D.     L’ANSE, Mich. — Susan Novak, a long-time resident of Ewen, passed away on Sunday June 11, 2017, at the Bayside Village in L’Anse. Susan was 58 years young and was born on Oct. 10, 1958, in Wakefield, to John and Mary Novak. Susan loved doing puzzles, magazines and taking walks outside.
