The Michigan lakes in Gogebic County included in the study are Chaney Lake, East Bay Lake, Lac Vieux Desert, Stateline Lake and West Bay Lake. Phyliss was born in Suring, Wis., to the late Albert and Rose Allie on July 28, 1922. She was raised in Paulding, Michigan and attended the Ewen schools, graduating in 1939.     IRON BELT, Wis. – Franklin G. DuCharme, 86, a longtime resident of Iron Belt, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Franklin was born on April 11, 1933, in Saxon, a son of Arthur and Anna (Ylitalo) DuCharme. He attended Saxon High School and graduated in 1952.
