After the meeting, county clerk Michael Saari told the Daily Globe the raises were part of the budgeting process the county is beginning for the upcoming fiscal year. IRONWOOD - With thick fog and cool temperatures, Thursday on the Gogebic Range felt more like a November day. The thermometer stood at 50 degrees at 4:25 p.m. in downtown Ironwood, under cloudy skies. HIV tests are still anonymous and now only take 20 minutes after the finger prick is complete, which allows people to know results before they leave the office, according to Laura Fredrickson, HIV case manager and services director in Marquette.
