    IRONWOOD - Wood chips and sawdust were flying Friday outside Jacquart Fabric Products' Stormy Kromer facility as lumberjacks competed in various races as part of a "Channel the Flannel" Summer Bash. Lumberjacks Logan Alden and Charlie Fenton, with the Hayward-based Timberworks Lumberjack Show, competed in a series of challenges - including ax throwing, a springboard chop, speed climbing and log rolling.     IRONWOOD - Festival Ironwood opens Wednesday at Depot Park and surrounding locations in downtown Ironwood. Co-chairs Will Corcoran and Keith Johnson visited the Globe Thursday to discuss the event and how the Bergquist family really got the ball rolling 25 years ago and it has grown ever since.     IRONWOOD, Mich. - Robert Quentin Movrich, 59, of Ironwood, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at home of a sudden heart attack. He was born Dec. 8, 1957, in Virginia, Minn., the son of Robert W. and Charlotte (Minkin) Movrich. He attended Bessemer Schools, graduating from the A.D. Johnston High School with the Class of 1976.     WAUSAU, Wis. — Lois F. Chatterson, 90, of Hurley, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born Feb. 13, 1927, in Morse, the daughter of the late Louis and Ellen (Smith) Deringer. She graduated from Glidden High School. Her husband, Francis G. Chatterson, preceded her in death on July 17, 2011.
