    IRONWOOD - The U.S. Department of Transportation has approved the new Essential Air Service provider for Gogebic-Iron County Airport, according to a Wednesday announcement from the agency.     IRONWOOD, Mich. — Marlin John Lundwall, 92, formerly of Topaz, passed away at Aspirus Grandview Hospital in Ironwood, on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021. He was born March 26, 1929, in Michigamme, son of the late Oscar and Teckla (Equist) Lundwall. Marlin was employed as a shaft repairman at the White Pine Copper Mine. He loved to hunt and fish.
