    GILE, Wis. - The Northwoods Land Trust and Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts are sponsoring a guided paddle on the Gile Flowage Wednesday.     IRONWOOD, Mich. - Alfred Rogers, 81, of Watersmeet, passed away on Sept. 4, 2018, at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital. Alfred was born in Fenwick to Gayla and Albert Rogers on June 3, 1937. He went to school in Fremont. He married Elvira Dellorto on Aug. 6, 1959, in Corinth, Miss. He owned his own carpet business, Roger's Carpet Service, for 50 years.     CHARLOTTE, Mich. - Ellen S. Kangas passed away on Aug. 4, 2018, at her daughter Diane's home in Charlotte. Ellen was born in Ironwood, the daughter of George and Senia (Nasi) Lassila. She married Matt H. Kangas, who preceded her in death on March 5, 1987. Ellen was also preceded in death by her son, Dennis K. Nylund; brothers, Edwin and Ray; and sisters, Evelyn Lassila and Elsie Stella.     HURLEY, Wis. - Delores M. Lanier, 80, of Hurley, died Aug. 29, 2018, after a long illness. She was born Sept. 7, 1937, to William Ector and Phyllis M. Brunell.
