BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. - On Saturday, July 31, 2021, Robert Mazurek passed away peacefully in his home in Baltimore County surrounded by his family. He was 95 years old. Robert, known as Bob to family and friends, was born June 9, 1926, and raised in Ironwood, Michigan, located in the Upper Peninsula near Lake Superior. L'ANSE, Mich. - George J. Haapala, 98, of Bruce Crossing, passed away Sept. 13, 2021, at Bayside Village in L'Anse. He was born on Sept. 1, 1923, in Paynesville, to the late Henry and Marie (Morti) Haapala. George served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army.
