The change means Iron County’s corporation counsel, Tim Dean, will no longer need to represent the county in any future hearings.     OTSEGO, Mich. — Aune Sylvia Harju, 93, of Paynesville, died on Sept. 12, 2017, at Diana’s Care in Otsego, surrounded by her family. She was born in Pieksamaki, Finland, on June 10, 1924, to Aksel and Olga (Manninen) Valkonen. She worked for many years in Finland, including state work and cashiering. She immigrated to the United States in 1949, moving to the Detroit area, at first living with relatives. She met and married Emil Harju in Detroit. They moved to Paynesville in 1952.
