IRONWOOD - Friends of the Library proved Saturday that despite increased Internet use, reading books is as popular as ever. Good numbers of readers turned out for a used book sale in the auditorium at the Memorial Building on a sunny fall day. Organizers of the event said it was about the 15th year of the sale, which helps the Ironwood Carnegie buy books and supports programs at the library.
