    By CHARITY SMITH [email protected] ONTONOGAN — Students in Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District’s center-based programs spent Friday morning fishing at Camp Josh.     IRONWOOD, Mich. - Daniel Koeppel, 74, died at home on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021. He was born on May 25, 1947, in Antigo, Wisconsin, to the late Norbert and Caroline (Lex) Koeppel. Dan graduated from Antigo High School in 1965. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War (1966-1968). In his younger years, Danny enjoyed playing modified pitch softball and logging.
