Gogebic County has had a total of 259 positive cases and 110 probables since the virus was first confirmed locally in March, according to Saturday’s update of Michigan’s coronavirus website.     IRONWOOD – The Ironwood campus of Gogebic Community College switched to a virtual learning platform on Monday, in an effort to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, according to a press release. “While challenging, we are still able to maintain our primary mission,” said Dr. George McNulty, president of GCC in the press release. “We continue to work closely with the health department to do what we can to mitigate spread.” Classes will remain virtual until Nov. 9, with the exception of several lab courses, the release said.
