IRONWOOD, Mich. - Edward "Junior" Popko, 88, of Ironwood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at Westgate Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living Facility in Ironwood. He was born on June 4, 1932, in Oma, Wisconsin, son of Edward and Anna (Kasieta) Popko. Edward was a long-time paper carrier for the Daily Globe. WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Shirley Mae Urbanski, 88, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020. Shirley was born on Dec. 25, 1931, the daughter of John and Angeline (Libertoski) Lane. She attended Wakefield High School and graduated in 1949.
