To celebrate, and as a dual purpose to also raise funds for the depot building's roof repair, the society has rolled out brand new calendars featuring historic photographs and dates of interest.     HURLEY, Wis. - Elizabeth "Betty" Jeane Rondeau, 83, passed away on Oct. 30, 2019, at her home in Hurley. She was born on Jan. 31, 1936, the daughter of Clyde and Hazel (Jacquart) Livingston. She attended Roosevelt Grade School and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood, Mich. Betty worked at Johnson Truck Farm in her younger years.     IRONWOOD, Mich. - Elizabeth Anne Mesun, 58, beloved and cherished wife and mother from Ironwood Township, passed away on Oct. 28, 2019, at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital. She was born Elizabeth Anne Ehlers in Two Harbors, Minn., on April 21, 1961. She was the youngest of six children of the late Walter and Margaret Ehlers of Silver Bay, Minn.     By RICHARD JENKINS [email protected] LANSING — Among the nearly $1 million in wildlife habitat grants the Michigan Department of Natural Resources announced last week is funding for deer habitat work in the Upper Peninsula. A portion of those funds will go towards ongoing efforts to improve deer habitat in the western and central U.P.
