Commissioner Joseph Cayer was not present with an excused absence.   • Bessemer Township receives Fourth of July 50-50 winnings

    RAMSAY - At its regular meeting of the board Monday, Bessemer Township received a check for $7,500 from the Ramsay 4th of July committee. The funds were obtained from the sale of 50/50 tickets this summer. The committee sold a total of 15,000 50/50 raffle tickets during the Fourth of July celebrations.     ASHLAND, Wis. - James Lee O'Leary Sr. died unexpected at his home in Ashland on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019. He was 87. James "Jim" was born on Aug. 3, 1932, in Ironwood, Mich., to Philip and Hulda (Noreen) O'Leary.
