    By RICHARD JENKINS [email protected] IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP - While there is a still a degree of skepticism about the idea, the Ironwood Township Board of Trustees voted 5-2 to adopt an ordinance granting a tax break for the Mill Trace Apartments Wednesday. Trustees Kevin Lyons and Bev Michaels voted against the measure.   • Black River Harbor dock project starting, parts of harbor closed for work

    BLACK RIVER HARBOR - Ottawa National Forest Bessemer District Ranger Tony Holland said Wednesday work will begin on the first phase of the Black River Harbor dock replacement project. Access to the docks and boat launch at Black River Harbor will be closed until further notice to allow for the construction work.     IRONWOOD — The lake-effect snow that was predicted for Iron and Gogebic counties continued through Wednesday afternoon throughout the Gogebic Range, with the National Weather Service predicting more than 8 inches through the evening.
