Water plant operator Gary Laguna said the levels of the contaminants have been coming down and only one reading, in Cary Location, slightly exceeded the maximum level, as measured in parts per billion.     ONTONAGON - Autumn-like temperatures brought out large crowds for the 15th annual Ontonagon Hometown Christmas Parade Sunday. Colorful lighted floats made the trip down River Street, led by the Ontonagon Area School District Band.     DEERWOOD, Minn. - Delores Goldie "Laurie" Polich, 88, of Deerwood, passed away at home on Dec. 4, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 13, 1927, in Crosby. After graduating from Crosby-Ironton High School in 1944, she attended the Crosby-Ironton Junior College and was employed by Minnesota Power & Light until she married Donald "Denny" Polich on May 23, 1948.
