    IRONWOOD — The ordinance regarding marihuana establishments will have a public workshop before revisions are considered in the new year, according to business of the Ironwood City Commission meeting on Monday. The commission 3-0 approved an amendment that changed the sunset date of Article I, Marihuana Establishments, Sec. 36-6 of the current Ordinance No. 521, Book 5 from Jan. 31 to March 31, 2020.     ONTONAGON - A new season kicked off last Friday at the Porcupine Mountains Ski Area in Ontonagon, and skiers and snowboarders were more than ready. "So happy to have the hill open," said Sherrie McCabe of Ontonagon, who added on Saturday that she hits the slopes "every chance I get."     KENTON, Mich. - David G. Passmore, 78, of Kenton, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 19, 2019. He was born Dec. 4, 1941, to George and Dorothy (McPherson) Passmore of Kenton. David graduated from Ewen High School in 1959, attended Michigan State University, and worked on the U.S. Forest service C&M crew constructing the Tepee Lake Picnic Area and Campground.
