    HURLEY - The 6 to 8 inches of heavy snow that fell on Friday on the Gogebic Range improved conditions for all outdoor activities. Area motels and gas stations benefitted from the snow that also blanketed Minnesota and the Upper Peninsula.     IRONWOOD, Mich. - Roy Isaacson, 76, passed away on Nov. 14, 2018, at Westgate Nursing Home in Ironwood. Although he battled Alzheimer's and Parkinson's for several years, he lived a rich and rewarding life. His final days were spent surrounded by his family and the loving caregivers at Westgate.
