    HURLEY — The Hurley girls basketball team came back from Christmas break in a big way, defeating Bessemer 53-24 on Tuesday night in Hurley.     ASHLAND, Wis. - Hurley has been good at overcoming slow starts. After losing their first two games, the Midgettes have won four straight. The fourth in that run came Thursday night when they overcame Ashland's early 14-5 lead and went home with a 58-50 non-conference victory.
