Wilma H. (Bronner) List

MILLINGTON, Mich. - Wilma H. (Bronner) List, 87, a longtime resident of Bergland, was redeemed early Wednesday morning, Jan. 22, 2014, at her residence in downstate Millington.

Wilma was born on Sept. 25, 1926, and was the daughter of John and Lilly (O'Brien) Bronner. In 1947, Wilma married Wilbur List. Before Wilbur's passing in September of 1978, Wilbur and Wilma celebrated 31 years of marriage.

Wilbur and Wilma owned and operated the Shangrala Bar and Grill in Bergland and spent many years at their cabin on Lake Gogebic. Wilma was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington and attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Bergland.

Wilma will be dearly missed by her six children and their spouses: daughters, Marcia (Tim) Dicks, Sandy Czerwinski, Cindy D'Agostino and Angie (Jack) Bender, and sons, Fred (Mona) List and Dave (Marianne) List; 11 grandchildren, Dana Infante, Ryon (Heather) List, Chad List, Todd List, Christine (Jay) Krueger, Christopher (Rachel) Sorrel, Rachel List, Mark List, Casey Czerwinski, Devin Bender and Dannae (Daniel) McCurry; five great-grandchildren, Carmen Fonstram, Autumn List, Ethan List, Simon List and Faith Krueger. Wilma also leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A funeral service was held Jan. 25, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran in Millington.

She was buried at Millington Cemetery alongside her husband.
