IRON RIVER, Mich. — Becky Klups, formerly of Ontonagon, passed away at her home in Iron River, on March 29, 2014. She fought a short battle with cancer.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1967, the daughter of Sandra and the late Richard Klups. She worked at White Pine Copper Co. until its closing, then went to nursing school at Gogebic Community College, earning her registered nurse degree. Her last place of employment was at the Lillian Kerr in Phelps, Wis.
She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Wiemeri, of Bessemer; her brother, Bobby; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Taylor; and her other grandparents.
A memorial is planned at a later date.
