WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Judith A. Weber, 76, of Ironwood, passed away suddenly Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield after a brief illness.

Judy was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth (Petermann) Krueger. On Sept. 14, 1957, she married her childhood sweetheart, David Weber. Together for 54 years, they moved North, eventually making their home in Ironwood. She was a devoted wife and mother who had a love of the medical field and worked as a medical transcriptionist for most of her life. A loving mother with a sharp witted sense of humor, Judy always believed that family came first.

She is survived by three sons, Jon (Pam), Hayward, Wis., Matthew (Georgia), Ironwood, and David (Barbara), Sault Ste. Marie; a daughter, Sara Weber (Bill), Hurley, Wis .; eight grandchildren, Jeremiah, Nicole, Noel, Ashley, Matthew, Cassie (Erick), Lauren and David; two brothers, Thomas (Darlene) Krueger, Antigo, Wis., and Larry (Shelley) Krueger, Mentone, Ind .; and many nieces and nephews.

Out of respect for Judy's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood, with the Rev. Kurt Kovanen officiating.

Luncheon will follow at Tacconelli's in downtown Ironwood.
