ONTONAGON - Two local school records fell Friday at the Ontonagon Invitational.
A meet record may have fallen if anybody kept weather records over the years.
Bessemer's Lily Wieringa broke the school record in the 3,200-meter run and Ontonagon's Lori Wardynski became her school's all-time best in the 300 hurdles.
The heat was intense for the first half of the meet when temperatures soared into the upper 80s before clouds and eventually rain came through.
